In the article "What Everyone Gets Wrong about AI" the host, Sabine Hossenfelder talks about AI and things people get wrong about it. The first topic she brings up is the fact that government leaders are incorrect about AI being a product of a nation. All of the big AI companies are private companies and might be based in their country but if the government ever decides to nationalize them they can just move offshore. Countries like England and the United States believe that is a race for AI control, similar to the moon landing we are now competing with other countries to become a leader in AI to help shape economies.
